Villa Podere Le Crete is an idyllic estate perched upon the hills of the beautiful Tuscan countryside overlooking the picturesque landscape of the Crete Senesi area.
The Villa is situated upon a 300-hectare organic farm. Within the estate, guests can enjoy taking a refreshing dip in the beautiful swimming pool, strolling the grounds of the estate, preparing a barbecue or a pizza in the wood fire stove, or dining al-fresco, all while taking in a marvelous view of the surrounding valley. Indoors, guests can enjoy billiards or ping-pong. The villa also offers a wide range of luxurious facilities, such as a spa area, a jetted tub, and a sauna. Tearing themselves away from all these comforts, guests can enjoy the villa’s convenient location, only two miles away from the lively town of Buonconvento, where restaurants, shops, a church, and a train station can be found; only 20 miles from the historic city of Siena and 10 miles from Montalcino.
This recently renovated Villa represents a combination of rustic architecture and formal furnishings, creating a spacious and welcoming space. The remodeled fireplace with the brick ceilings, the stone floors with sofas pulled around the large farmhouse style fireplace, and the crystal chandeliers around the property create a comfortable and charming atmosphere where guests feel immediately at home.
The spacious estate can welcome from 12 guests up to 18 guests. The estate consists of the main villa, which provides eight bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and the guest house, which provides an additional bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Guests can rest comfortably as all the bedrooms include air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
This hilltop estate provides the perfect escape from life’s frantic pace. From wine tasting to horseback riding, cooking classes, pizza nights, trekking the surrounding hills to lounging poolside, guests are sure to enjoy a true retreat and an authentic Tuscan experience.

Location

Crete Senesi is the name of a vast area in southern Tuscany, stretching between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo. The Crete Senesi is known for its soft hills and many consider it to be the most beautiful part of Tuscany. The Crete Senesi is home to some of the most remote vestiges of the Sienese heritage, with its towers and castles reaching toward the sky and its enchanting landscape in the Val d’Orcia. Driving from Siena to Montalcino, the capital of Brunello wines, the views are unforgettable and the local towns of Buonconvento, Montalcino, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, and Pienza offer a taste of the local cultural flavor as well as delicious restaurants highlight the local culinary traditions. Heading southeast of Siena, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore is one of the first stops followed by the thermal waters at Rapolano Terme and the delicious flavor of white truffles in San Giovanni d’Asso.
